Hello I'm Dr. James Murphy and I'd like to thank you for visiting my site and I'd like to give you a little information about our office and our approach to treating injuries, managing chronic and acute conditions and helping patients live a healthy and pain free life. We treat painful conditions specific to each patient and their presenting complaint, I focus on the root of the problem and utilize the specific modalities to correct the condition. We're not a “rack and crack, in and out” office.

Our treatments are thorough and focused utilizing myofascial mobilization, soft tissue and joint mobilization, muscle manipulation, deep stretching of hyper contracted muscle fibers; trigger point release, disc decompression for slipped discs, gentle spinal adjustments, strengthening and more.

I played hockey most of my life, I run, workout and stay active because of this I've sustained a lot of injuries, if you have a sore back, slipped disc, headache, stiff neck, screaming shoulder, sprained ankle, etc. I want you to know I've been there and I'd like to help you like I've helped many others. We are located in the heart of the Doylestown (18901) borough on Oakland Ave. with parking in the back. We also specialize in nutritional testing, offer acupuncture, massage therapy, yoga classes and have holistic Midwives who deliver at Doylestown Hospital and provide full Ob/Gyn services at this office.

We hope you enjoy the information within and share it with others. Again, thank you for visiting www.bucksspinalhealth.com and www.doylestownhealth.com and remember to come back often.

Yours in health,

Dr. James Murphy

Testimonials

Reviews By Our Satisfied Patients

  • "I was constantly tired and feeling ran down, after lunch I'd feel like I like someone flipped a switch and zapped the little remaining energy I had. I was getting sick a lot, had severe allergies and I felt like I couldn't lose any weight. My doctor finally recommended me to Dr. Murphy for a blood panel for food allergies, I found out I have a severe allergy to gluten and processed sugars as well as deficiencies in certain vitamins and minerals. Since then I've avoided certain foods and added recommended supplements, today I feel 100% better tons of energy and I've lost nearly 30 pounds."

  • An Apple a Day . . .

What is so good about an apple? Is it the color, ranging from ruby red to pale pink? Is it the crunch? The sweetness? Or is it, instead, a combination of all of these qualities, plus the natural goodness derived from the apple's secret ingredients — phytonutrients? If this were a multiple choice quiz, the answer would be "all of the above". Importantly, in addition to possessing numerous appealing physical qualities, apples contain an abundance of health-promoting biochemicals known as phytonutrients.1,2 These specific organic molecules are derived not only from apples but many other fresh fruits and vegetables, and help power the immune system, protect against cancer, maintain healthy eyes, and assist cells in clearing out metabolic waste products such as free radicals. ...
